What does a Google rank checker measure?
A Google rank checker finds where a domain appears on Google for the chosen keywords. Our tool scans the top 100 organic results and shows your site's rank and the ranking address.
Keyword rank lookup is the most basic measure of SEO work: a page outside the top 10 stays unseen in most searches. The rank is measured on a non-personalised search; the chosen city and device (desktop or mobile) change the result, so both can be selected.
One query covers up to 5 keywords. The same domain, keywords, location and device are cached for 24 hours; a repeated query within the day shows the same measurement.
How is a site ranking check done?
The measurement runs on the top 100 organic results of Google Türkiye (or the chosen city). The organic rank is given without counting ads, maps and question boxes; the real position on the page is reported separately. Subdomains of the domain (www, blog) count as the same site.
The data comes from the DataForSEO SERP API, which collects Google results on the server side; no request goes from your browser to Google or the provider. Every query uses 1 credit; customer panel members have a higher daily credit.

Google personalises results by location, device, search history and session. The tool measures a non-personalised search in the chosen city and device, so a few positions of difference from your browser are normal.

The query record is kept with the domain, keywords and ranks; nothing that directly identifies a person is stored. Anonymous records are deleted after 30 days; a signed-in customer's record is kept for up to 400 days so measurements can be compared over time.
